Vineyards and Harvest:
Arrow Creek Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are grown in the fertile soils of California’s Central Valley, primarily in the San Joaquin Valley. The grapes bask in the warm California sun by day and soak up the cool breeze off the Pacific Ocean by night. Long known for award-winning and enjoyable wines, the Central Valley is emerging as one of the world’s leaders in quality wine production.
Wine Description:
Dark plums, stone fruit, and a hint of chocolate are the dominant aromas in this classically structured California Cabernet Sauvignon. The tannins are soft, the finish long and the structure elegant.
Food Pairing:
Feature alongside sharp cheeses and red meats.
Winemaking:
The grapes for Arrow Creek Cabernet Sauvignon were de-stemmed and classically fermented for eight days. After fermentation the wine was sent to neutral stainless casks, naturally clarified, and bottled after one year.
Tasting Notes:
Aromas of blackberry and cherry are coupled with silky tannins and a juicy, vibrant acidity. The bold mid-palate segues seamlessly into the long and supple finish.
